Summary of Experience:
Tim Rudnicki is an Attorney and Governmental Affairs Advocate. He received his B.A. (psychology) from the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minnesota (1979). Mr. Rudnicki received his J.D. from William Mitchell College of Law in St. Paul, Minnesota (1994). He is a member of state and national professional associations focused on energy, environment and natural resources.
Mr. Rudnicki’s professional work has focused on aspects of electricity industry restructuring, energy resource emission cost accounting, closed loop resource management, environmental health initiatives, transmission line routing and energy resource development.
In 1999 Mr. Rudnicki began working for Great Lakes United (an international coalition dedicated to preserving and restoring the Great Lakes-St. Lawrence River ecosystem) where he researched bi-national water quality agreements and emission sources in Minnesota, analyzed legal and policy issues and authored report (U.S. EPA).
More recently (since 2002) Mr. Rudnicki has been working with the Pimicikamak where he created and galvanized a national constituency for Indigenous Peoples and energy issues, handled media and community relations and worked with policymakers to advance key energy and environmental initiatives.
Presentation Area:
Mr. Rudnicki’s will focus on his expertise regarding energy policy where Manitoba Hydro exports energy, especially in relation to alternative energy, wind energy, and the public policy, regulatory, and legislative standards regarding alternative and wind energy in Minnesota.
His presentation will be in relation to the Guidelines for the JNFAAT Review as included in the public notice regarding the Wuskwatim hearings made by the CEC in January 2004.
